Both symptoms point to one root cause: your browser/CDN is serving a stale brand.css. The new CSS is on the server, but the stylesheet is loaded with a version number that didn’t change — so clients keep using the cached copy. Without the new CSS, the grid collapses to one column and the thumbnail boxes have no height (which is exactly what those tiny play-button squares are).
